To launch Hornitos Tequila, Allied Domecq required a vitrine that would enhance its exotic,
contemporary brand image. The fixture should stand out in the dark settings of bars and wine clubs, which would be the
permanent home of the exciting new beverage.
The proposed vitrine echoes the form of the Hornitos packaging, finished in brilliant Mexicana colors
and bedecked with computer-generated "tequila-esque" motifs. To create luminosity, the logo crowner and
cabinet bottom are backlit in low-wattage fluorescent lamp and the pencil-edged glass shelves float on adjustable pegs.
