Everything's comin' up roses

Floswers are expected to feature strongly in the coming seasons. Photo by FontPlay.comAs the fashion trend toward embellishment continues in the coming seasons, flowers are expected to feature strongly in exotic, retro, and vintage-inspired patterns and arrangements.

According to floral designer Paula Pryke, “flowers follow fashion colors a year later, and also, whatever has been out a long time will be back. Both of these point towards peach and lilac pinks being the hot colors; peach and apricot in particular will finally grace wedding tables again in 2006.”

Expect branches and leaves to be big. “We want it to look fresh and simple but not sparse: minimal is out,” says Ms. Pryke. “I am in love with Glori o sa lilies and they still seem very exotic to me!”
